If your eligible patient has been prescribed LIVTENCITY, Takeda Patient Support is here to help them gain access to their medication. Our Patient Support Managers (PSMs) can also provide other support services, including:

  • Benefits investigation: we provide support during the process of determining a patient’s insurance benefits and eligibility for certain services
  • Prior authorization information: we’ll coordinate with your patient’s insurance company to determine any prior authorization requirements
  • Specialty pharmacy triage and coordination: through the selected pharmacy options, we will work with your patient’s insurance provider to help them gain access to LIVTENCITY
  • Financial assistance options: our PSMs can help educate patients on financial assistance options, if eligible
  • Product and disease state education: trained nursing professionals are ready to provide your patient education on their condition and LIVTENCITY. They cannot provide medical advice

Financial Assistance

At Takeda Patient Support, our PSMs will review your patient’s coverage and help them understand what financial options may be available.

The Takeda Patient Support Co-Pay Assistance Program helps eligible, commercially insured patients pay as little as $0 per prescription.*

Takeda Patient Support can provide assistance to eligible patients who have no insurance or need help getting LIVTENCITY.†‡

For patients who are experiencing a loss of or gap in insurance

If your patient experiences a loss of or gap in coverage, Takeda Patient Support can help.

The Emergency Access Program provides patients with up to 60 days of LIVTENCITY if they’re experiencing a loss of or gap in insurance coverage or authorization.

Patients must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently receiving LIVTENCITY
  • Experiencing a loss of or gap in insurance coverage or previously approved prior authorization
  • Prescribed the same dosing through their insurance

If your patient experiences a loss of or gap in coverage, Takeda Patient Support can help.

Speciality pharmacy support

LIVTENCITY is distributed through a limited pharmacy network. We’ll work with the pharmacy and your patient’s insurance provider to help them gain access to LIVTENCITY.

Takeda Patient Support will:

Provide support during the benefits verification process

Triage and coordinate with the specialty pharmacy to fill the prescription as soon as possible

Work with the specialty pharmacy to identify financial assistance options for eligible patients, if needed

Remind your patients that we or their specialty pharmacy will call or text message them. Please encourage your patients to keep the Takeda Patient Support number (1-855-268-1825) in their phone so they don’t mistake it for a spam call.

Product support from Nurse Educators

If your patient has questions about LIVTENCITY or their condition, a Nurse Educator is a phone call away. Nurse Educators are trained nursing professionals who are ready to provide your patient education about LIVTENCITY and their condition. Nurse Educators cannot provide medical advice.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Takeda’s Patient Support Co-Pay Assistance Program (the Program) is not valid for prescriptions eligible to be reimbursed, in whole or in part, by Medicaid, Medicare (including Medicare Part D), Tricare, Medigap, VA, DoD, or other federal or state programs (including any medical or state prescription drug assistance programs). No claim for reimbursement of the out-of-pocket expense amount covered by the Program shall be submitted to any third party payer, whether public or private. The Program cannot be combined with any other rebate/coupon, free trial, or similar offer. Copayment assistance under the Program is not transferable. The Program only applies in the United States, including Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories, and does not apply where prohibited by law, taxed, or restricted. This does not constitute health insurance. Void where use is prohibited by your insurance provider. If your insurance situation changes you must notify the Program immediately at 1-855-268-1825. Coverage of certain administration charges will not apply for patients residing in states where it is prohibited by law. Takeda reserves the right to rescind, revoke, or amend the Program at any time without notice.
